GRANT & CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP

GRANT & CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
with Sarah Blesener / ICP

Overview

This workshop will explore the creative intersection of writing and imagery, focusing on generating core questions, reflecting on images, and centering poetics and process into our writing practice. The end aim will be to develop grant writing skills, with each student walking away with a written proposal. However, this course will also delve into the relationship between image and text, and take a deeper look at the role of writing within our visual and creative practice.

Requirements

Students should bring 2-3 images from their personal project to write about. It is also highly recommended that participants gather any relevant written material they have previously created about their work, as this will serve as a valuable resource during the workshop.
